Teppan Dining Bowls is a useful option. Its value lies not in luxury teppanyaki, but in the fact that near Sannomiya Station, you can enjoy a steak or a hot iron plate lunch at a surprisingly affordable price. The concept is simple: steak, hamburg, iron-plate cooking, rice, and speed. It's not a place for delicate grilling or the quiet atmosphere of a proper steakhouse. It's a place to get meat quickly and cheaply in the middle of the city. This strength is also its limit: if you go with the expectation of high-end teppanyaki, you may feel that the details are rough. The rice, the doneness and the room are not the centre of pleasure here. The atmosphere is practical: small, station-side, direct, and not especially calm. If smoking is still allowed, this becomes a serious weakness. The price is the real draw: lunch is the best time to visit, not for the expensive steak, but for the simple, affordable plate. I visited ``Bowls Kitchen'' located under the overpass because I was lured by the 600 yen discount lunch sign in front of the store. Of course, I ordered the beef steak lunch for 600 yen. I was guided to a table with an iron plate, but the iron plate was not heated, and everything was cooked on the iron plate in front of the counter seat. First, rice and soup are served. You can refill rice and soup once each. And the main beef steak is served on aluminum foil instead of a plate. Although the portion is small, the beef grilled medium rare is delicious. I remember that it was 500 yen until a few years ago, but even at 600 yen, it's still a great value! Next time I will have the beef steak lunch W (1000 yen).
