ATTENTION! Parking not allowed close to restaurant ! 130€ fine per vehicle! We had a birthday party here Overall the food was good we were a big group and the restaurant managed this well and was able to do a la carte while others restrict it to a specific menu. Service in itself was ok as well. Unfortunately, we were coming from abroad and didn’t know and see the parking signs as it is a whole large area that is only for parking of people who live there. It’s very hard to see. It’s completely surrounding la Meuse and no one told us about it from the staff. We don’t speak Dutch, but apparently when I called the waiter a day later they told me that they have a sign on the table in Dutch that explains the parking situation and to ask the waiter for where it’s allowed to park. We all received 130€ fines for parking in the surrounding area of la Meuse. It therefore an extremely expensive lunch and it would be better specially if it’s people from abroad to make them aware of the situation or have the signs in English as well.
