It my first time in Basel, I just try to get dinner in that lovely garden, but I was only one person and without reservation. The couple behind me didn’t have neither a reservation but they were friends of the man that rejected me. That’s happen in everywhere, inclusive in Switzerland. I don’t complain about it. My advice is to do a reservation unless you know that rude guy. The place looks great. Service: 1

This is a typical Swiss restaurant. It was vety busy the Friday evening in June when we were there. The staff were hurrying to and fro. The food was delicious and we all ate well. The prices are typical of Switzerland, that is to say, a bit higher than we would pay in England. The portions are very generous, almost too much so. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: CHF 90–100
