First, my friend and I didn’t get the coffee bean card when the coffee served, whereas other people in the shop got that little card. Second, I ordered a cinnamon bun and told the staff that I eat in, however she didn’t give the cutlery to me. Later, I see another customer sitting next to me has a cinnamon bun and cutlery with she. I believe this is a little mistake, but this experience makes me uncomfortable while dinning in this coffee shop. You can tell everything from my picture. Disappointing experience. My cortado was quite cool, so I politely asked if I could have some hot water. The staff member told me, “It’s made with milk,” which I already knew — and I found this rather patronising. When I explained that I was simply asking for hot water, he said he was “in the middle of something and couldn’t help.” I found the response unnecessarily dismissive. A simple “I’ll be with you in a moment” would have been perfectly fine, but refusing a simple request when politely asked is disappointing. Service: 1 Atmosphere: 4
