We had a lovely meal here this evening and the atmosphere is a real local, country pub complete with an open fire and dogs. The steak and ale pie is one of the best I've had in a long while. Fortunately, my wife couldn't manage all her scampi so I had a couple of pieces of that as well and that will be my meal when we return. My son in law had the steak and that looked lovely as well. A big 10/10 from me. We WILL be back. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes: Whdetail Whitby Scampi, Homemade Steak Pie Potatoes and Garden Peas
