Not surprised this placed closed. Horrible service from the hostess to the wait staff.  Food was average at best and the only thing great about it was that was close to other bars and restaurants on the riverwalk .

I went to Bridge House Tavern for an early dinner while visiting Chicago (early summer). The restaurant was busy during early dinner/happy hour. The patio area filled up very fast (weather was beautiful during my visit). We arrived early to get a patio seat. Bridge House Tavern has food and drink specials during happy hour. I ordered a few appetizers. Spicy chicken avocado rolls were my favorite appetizer (caramelized onions, roasted red peppers, white cheddar, blue cheese & chipotle sauce). The other appetizers were A-Okay. The river walk ambience really makes this place (IMO). Service was attentive for a busy restaurant. Bridge House Tavern patio area is a great place to enjoy food or drinks, while taking in awesome views of Chicago River Walk. I give Bridge House Tavern a 3.5  rounded up to 4 stars.
