Great food, very attentive and polite staff. Will definitely dine there again. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $140–160 Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4 Recommended dishes: Townsville Half Shell Scallops
I had the loin of lamb which was tender on a bed of cubed cooked beetroot. Interesting but not spectacular. The waiter advised me the main needed a side so I ordered the Snake Beans. The beans were crisp and looked good but were unfortunately covered with what reminded me of a Chinese style sweet and sour sauce with large pieces of ginger. I didn't find it at all appetising and felt like it didn't go with the lamb or any of the other mains on offer. When I went to settle up the waiter asked how it was and I told him of the above. He seemed to me to completely discount my views like I knew nothing. So not a great experience and especially for the price. Food: 2 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 3
Visiting Townsville for 2 days and had a fabulous night at Bridgewater Q restaurant. The service was spot-on, good knowledge about the wines they were serving and a very relaxing atmosphere. The food was delicious as well, my only recommendation would be adding a bit of a spicy kick to it. Otherwise, well done and thank you for this wonderful night! I would definitely recommend going to this restaurant. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: A$140–160 Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
