Order tasty fish. Many visitors point out that the staff is knowledgeable at this restaurant. Terrific service is something clients like here. Google gives it 4 so you can select Britannia to have a good time here.

Cant understand why reviews are saying its a favourite,and great, its far from it, chips were luke warm ,average portion, that dry and shrivelled i presume they were warm ups from yesterday, i also got a sausage as the fish didnt look good, not crispy at all, that was a mistake too ,chewy,and old? it wasnt the best at all,the lot got half eaten and binned .nothing seemed fresh ..staff was friendly though,if that helps...gobsmacked that theres lots of reviews saying its fresh and nice, it doesnt seem that way, Price per person: £1–10 Food: 1 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 3

Please don't waste your money it's the worst chip shop I've ever been to .I ordered a chip butty and gravy normally you'd get a proper bread bap but these skin flints gave me a small seeded bread bun and they tried to short change me .I think they serve frozen chips too

I hope Britannia reads their reviews because I would love them to succeed as they're local, & lovely people. However, there are no standards for food quality which makes every order inconsistent. Re-heated chips go hard on the edges and chewy in the centre, Kebab meat is often re-heated and tastes bland, and the texture is like rubber. Nan bread is either beautifully cooked or overcooked. Some orders have been great, whilst others I have thrown in the bin and re-ordered via just eat elsewhere. This is peoples money, and the least we deserve when parting with it is a consistent meal. Lovely people, poor quality on food. Food: 2 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 3
