I am a Nordic Northwest member and normally love Broder Soder. I brought some friends this past weekend who were new to your restaurant and I regretted making the recommendation. I understand weekend wait times are expected since you do not take reservations. We waited over an hour for the table (longer than 40 min eta given) and nearly as long for food once seated. The wait wouldn’t have been bad if we’d been able to stroll the grounds, but because you do not have a way to contact people when the table is ready, except for a quiet single announcement from the hostess, we stuck close to host stand with the crowd. It would also be ideal to order drinks from coffee bar while waiting but hostess said we had to order through her so we got back in the long line to order. She would disappear from host stand for extended periods as well so line continued to grow. I want to come back and I want to bring visitors again. Please, please consider making some small changes to improve experience. Thank you. Food: 5 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 5 Meal type: Brunch Price per person: $40–50

I think there’s some clear organization issues. They lost our order and we waited more than an hour for food requiring us to reorganize our day. I would come here if there’s no wait, like the on the weekday, less likely to get your order lost. The food is otherwise great, staff is kind. Food: 5 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 3 Meal type: Brunch

I picked up a chicken salad dish for lunch. Walked the path and checked out the troll while I waited. Speedy service and friendly staff. I had an excellent cup of tea as well!
