Ordered the Chef’s Special which was lobster and carbonara. We also ordered the Scotch Fillet. The lobster was one the meatiest lobsters I’ve had! The only thing wrong was it was slightly overcooked, however the manager reassured me that will take me feedback and improve it, as they are looking at changing the way they cook it so they don’t overcook it. Nothing noteworthy about the carbonara. The steak was nice, we ordered it medium rare, but it was slightly more rare than medium rare. (Not a big issue) Also ordered the “Grant Burge Margaret River Ink Cabernet Sauvignon” wine, which was fantastic! Also ordered the Toblerone cocktail which was very nice. Overall great value, I wouldn’t worry about the negatives as every restaurant isn’t perfect all the time. Price per person: A$40–60 Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4

I recently hosted a function for 20 people at Brooklands Tavern and was very pleased with everything. I would not hesitate to book another time. We had our own room, were allowed to decorate & have our own music. The food platters were very tasty and the service from all staff was excellent from the start of the booking right through to the end of the function. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
