If you have never come across Ecuadorian and French cuisines, you should order a table at this restaurant. Guests don't like pork, pancakes and coffee at Brunch EC. The appealing staff works hard, stays positive and makes this place wonderful. The spectacular service demonstrates a high level of quality at this place. From the visitors' viewpoint, prices are reasonable. Enjoy the cool atmosphere here. Based on the guests' feedback on Google, this spot deserved 4.

A breakfast club’s VERY DISAPPOINTING desayuno in Cuenca . The ONLY enjoyable thing is the fresh brewed flavorful coffee. The menu is pretty, but all the food that came out are MAJOR DISAPPOINTMENT. *** We have been to many Desayunos, but this place is at the bottom of the pit. *** It seems the cook(s) is (are) preparing food haphazardly OR are not tasting the food they serve OR that they need to re-think their idea of what their food is*** The Croissant Benedictino is a good idea/twist of a classic dish. BUT the bread is very OBVIOUSLY OLD, baked many days previous. They are chewy and almost stale. The poached eggs are done improperly. For 3 orders, one is broken and two are hard. The bacon bits are strange. WHY NOT SERVE THE FULL STRIPS OF BACON??? Then there’s the Curly Fries, obviously factory-made and tasteless. Ecuador produces many and best potatoes in world, NO EXCUSE FOR SERVING FACTORY MADE TASTELESS FRIES. Desayuno Americano comes with TERRIBLE TASTING, VERY SUGARY PANCAKES. From the shape, they look like factory-made. This comes with Fresh Fruit Bowl. BUT THEN THEY ARE SPRINKLED WITH SESAME SEEDS AND WITH ADDED SYRUP that destroys the fresh flavors of fruit.. WHY DO THIS??? Then there’s the so-called “Brunch Mexicano” MEXICO WEEPS FOR THIS TRAVESTY ! The base is a good-tasting Chili-Beef BUT SERVED COLD AND NOT PICANTE AT ALL unlike as printed in the menu. THIS IS A MISSED OPPORTUNITY for the cook to show off their talent!!! It comes with a mountain of chips (Totopos) when it supposed to be Maiz Tortillas as printed in the menu.. WHY???? Then there’s the side of slices of LEATHERY CHORIZO that’s obviously cooked many days before. IT IS NOT EVEN THE MEXICAN CHORIZO. And it comes when a small bowl of VERY SALTY PICKLED ONIONS. Mexican implies this should have been Pico de Gallo!!!! SERVICE IS BAD. The waitress seems to be either unfamiliar with the menu OR she’s daydreaming OR she simply doesn’t care. *** We had to repeat (en Español) and point the orders from the (Español) menu. The eatery is otherwise a pleasant dining environment. We CANNOT recommend this place. Meal type: Brunch Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 5 Vegetarian options: Limited vegetarian options in the menu
