never again. the place is nice and the food regular but it is ruined by the lady at the door. she is obnoxious. she treated my friend very rudly. we arrived 17 minutes before our reservation. the place was not full. she wouldnt let us pass but was ok to give free tables to people without reservation. where is the logic? and her tone and they way she glanced at us was really no class. Food: 2 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 2

For the first time I went to Buche today, at lunch time. I found the overall experience disappointing. I ordered a Buche salad which was really very good. I also ordered a slice of chocolate cake, but specifically asked the waiter who served us if it had chocolate fudge and chocolate fudge filling and NOT delicacy. He responded that it was chocolate, so I asked him to include it as part of my order. After finishing the salad I wanted dessert but they took a while to bring it. When they did, what they brought was a small portion of the cake and it was not what I asked for. It had delicacy fudge and not chocolate as I was told. Although the photo I attached is of the incomplete cake, it looks like it is the fudge and it is clearly not what I ordered or what I paid for. I didn't finish the portion because it wasn't the best, very average to below. A couple of friends tried it and told me they didn't find it anything special either. I mentioned this situation to the waiter when I asked for the bill, but he remained impassive without looking at me or even saying a word. It is noted that training in customer service and attention of the waiters, or that one in particular, is not the restaurant's strong point. The other dishes, which were lomo saltado, rice with seafood and a fish, were good from what I was informed. Due to the poor service received, I do not rate the restaurant higher and I will not return or recommend it. The experience must be comprehensive, not only the food but also the service, and in that department, the restaurant is far below what I consider a good standard in that regard. Hello Manuel, I told you that our chocolate cake does not have any blancmange, it only has fudge.
