Dining in a sea of white flowers and notes of melodic jazz from the piano. Bucks was one of my all-time favorite restaurants for special occasion dining in Louisville, Kentucky. I was so saddened to hear that Buck had passed away a few years back. I haven't been back to Buck's since the COVID epidemic and for a reason. Though I'm quite glad to hear that Buck's restaurant doors are still swinging, I refuse to patronize it any more with its ridiculously soaring menu prices which obviously reflects the owners' decision to cater more towards the affluent wealthy than to the average middle-class hard-working people who live in or visit this city. Maybe if they reduced their flagrantly overpriced items or gave us some moderately priced options, I would reconsider my decision to boycott this establishment. I hope the restaurant owners will take heed and make Buck's more accessible to average folk like myself who are already struggling and just trying to make it in this difficult economy. I'm sure Buck to have to write this review, but I know you would agree that a $120 Ribeye is very hard to swallow.
