Took my mom here this evening. She ordered the French Dip and strawberry cheesecake. The FD came with melted cheese (which should not be there) and the au jus was too salty for her to eat. She did however enjoy the desse I ordered the Caeser salad. I wish I had taken a picture. Lettuce, a sprinkle of Parmesan, about half a cucumber sliced in big thick wedges, about 1/2 cup of tomato chunks (never in my life have I seen cucumber and tomatoes on a Caesar salad. WTH?) oh and there were these greenish-yellow rounded cubes chicken that appear to have been frozen at one time.  No croutons anywhere on the plate and a paper ramekin of dressing on the side, so not pre-tossed. It looked absolutely disgusting. I called the waitress over and told here this is not how a CS is made...to which she responded... "well that's how we make them here." Miss, cucumbers and tomato do not belong on a Caesar salad. I didn't even mention the lack of croutons to her or ask why it hadn't been pre-tossed, BC it's obvious they don't know what a Caesar salad is or looks like. "Please take it away." And she did. Note to self-never pre-tip on a debit card receipt, tip in cash after the meal. Oh and they delivered my water with a sample of mayo on the glass!

Took my mom here this evening. She ordered the French Dip and strawberry shortcake. The FD came with melted cheese (which should not be there) and the au jus was too salty for her to eat. Lettuce, a sprinkle of Parmesan, about half a cucumber sliced in big thick wedges, about 1/2 cup of tomato chunks (never in my life have I seen cucumber and tomatoes on a Caesar salad. Note to self-never pre-tip on a debit card receipt, tip in cash after the meal. I will learn. If you are not coming here for a burger and fries, you will probably be disappointed. Btw This place has been re-named. It is now called Bernie's Burgers.

Not what it once was. Buddy's is hit or miss with their burgers. If you go on a good day it's a great burger and fries. The last few times we have eaten there our orders were wrong and burger was a dried out mess. You can always count on good seasoned waffle fries with fry sauce.
