Don't really know why this place is called Bugis Street Brasserie, since it serves Chinese food, but I'm sure there's some meaning or history behind it... Came here for a coworker's birthday lunch, got there right when it opened. We got seated by the very friendly staff. We decided to share a bunch of items and our eyes were probably bigger than our stomachs because there was so much food!  One of our coworkers didn't eat meat, so we got mostly seafood or veggie dishes. Got the salt and pepper squid to start - deliciously salty and fried. Shared the green beans, veggies with shirmp, Penang noodles, seafood hor fun, kung po scallops, egg fried rice, and got a side of brown rice.   Everything was good, my favorite was probably the kung po scallops.  I also checked in and got the free green tea ice cream. They were nice enough to put a candle in it!
