Our night couldn’t have been any more perfect! We had a great time out with our 11 year old son celebrating the end of elementary school. My husband and I got the 14oz ribeye and they both were cooked to perfection!!! RARE The Romano crusted chicken pasta was the perfect kids dish with a bit more sophistication than basic chicken fingers. To top it off our server, Adam S was just amazing!!!! He made our night even better. We will be asking for him next time we make a reservation!!! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
Really enjoyed the hospitality. Corbin did a great job, he was on point with everything. Will definitely be returning. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
I'm not sure how this gem of a restaurant ended up in Statesboro but the citizens near this sleepy little Main Street are lucky. The road it sits on, is sprinkled with small storefront shops and a lot of charm. While visiting friends who live in Newington, we went to Bull and Barrel Steakhouse. My friend and I treated her husband to a nice brunch for Father's Day. The restaurant is large, with a Mid-Century Modern feel. Textured wood and brick walls, interesting lighting and fun wallpaper created a charming place to enjoy a meal. The host area was spacious, the separate bar was large, two dining rooms and an outdoor patio make up this beautiful restaurant. Although space was in abundance, the place was filled with high energy. I guess there were a lot of wonderful Dads being honored. Our server was a young guy who could not have been sweeter. He was friendly and all smiles. He offered attentive and knowledgeable service on par with an older server who had been at it for decades. The food and cocktails were exceptional. The Mimosas were huge, and the fun take on the Mule cocktail were all very tasty. My friends had traditional breakfasts of eggs, meat and hash browns. I went with Eggs Benny and it was perfection. I brought half home for another meal. The quality, quantity and price point are spot on. I think I want to move to Statesboro so I can become a regular at Bull & Barrel Steakhouse!
