Great variety of items on the menu. The meat was pretty good quality and the prices were somewhat reasonable considering the portion sizes. They had an easy-to-use ordering machine on the table which was great especially if you want to keep adding to your order without having to keep waving a waiter. They had a decent selection of banchans too and I particularly appreciated that they had fresh kimchi on the menu as it’s a more bigger-friendly variation that not a lot of other restaurants have. The tableware also felt really authentic as it reminded me of my past dining experiences in Korea. Another plus are grill vents that did an amazing job at sucking most of the smoke which made the smell on our clothes minimal. Just one let down was the lack of space on the table for our order. I feel like having some kind of extension or small side table might’ve helped. Apart from that I definitely would go back again! Highly recommend Bullgogi! I gave it 5 stars across the board for a reason. The food is packed with flavor, the staff are super attentive, and the vibe inside is spot on. For anyone looking for halal options in Manchester, this place a halal option and they understand the halalcontamination issue and are very accommodating, which is amazing. Had a fantastic experience at Bullgogi Manchester! The restaurant delivers exactly what you want from Korean BBQ — high‑quality cuts of meat, great marinades, and a fun, interactive cooking experience right at the table. The atmosphere is lively but comfortable, and despite the grills, there’s no heavy smoke smell lingering on your clothes, which is a big plus. Service was excellent: the staff were friendly, attentive, and kept everything running smoothly. The menu has a great mix of classics like Korean fried chicken, tteokbokki, and bibimbap, plus a solid range of BBQ options. The soju cocktails and Somaek combos are a great touch if you want something a bit different.
