Not too crowded for a weekend lunch, perhaps because Ben Vien is only alive at night. Ordered the bun cha (60VND) and fried spring rolls (35VND), pretty mid in my opinion. This was my first bun cha, either the restaurant is not doing it justice or the dish is not for me. The grilled pork had no lingering charred flavour, the dish basically tasted like pork meatballs in fish sauce. I had high expectations of the spring rolls, which were made to order, but for some reason they stick to my teeth? Not the most pleasant to eat.
