Excellent food, service and atmosphere. A Landmark in the Delaware food scene. You have to have the ham loaf. The Restaurant is historic it’s been here since 1864. Great Indoor dining area, great outdoor dining area. There’s really two parts of this great restaurant. Great place to gather with your family and friends. Come by and enjoy it all. This was our first time here. The fried green tomatoes with the pimento cheese was amazing! Our waitress, Jennifer, was super sweet and attentive. There is a wide variety of food, and the ambience is great, with live music on the patio. O’Neill & Martin was the acoustic duo performing tonight, and they are fantastic!! It's been many years since I was here. My first choice in delaware is old bag of nails. But in Delaware there is no parking for this location. So I skipped the old bag and went to Buns. I am very glad I did. The fish and chips appeared to be Haddock. Very good. The cocktail sauce was one of the best I've had in several years. They also have a parking lot. Not many there at 3:15 pm. Service was a tad slow. One of the table mates waited 15 minutes for a cup of coffee. Food came out good and hot. I certainly will now be returning and giving up bag of nails in Delaware. Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 5
