"Incredibly disappointed by the bias at this location. My husband and I are a mixed-race couple, and when we walked in, the staff completely ignored us—no greeting, no eye contact, nothing. However, a white family walked in right behind us and was immediately greeted and spoken to. The double standard was loud and clear. It was an incredibly uncomfortable experience, and we felt completely unwelcome. We won’t be back."

Years ago I loved Burger King & The Whopper - I thought it was the best fast food burger ever. As I matured "fast foods" appeal grew less & less. Occasionally these days we break down & grab a burger on the run but hadn't had anything from Burger King for years, then my lady of 15 years saw the many commercials about BK improving The Whopper & kept saying she wanted to give it a try. So, being the good guy I am, today I stopped in the Blue Ridge, GA BK to grab her lunch. I ordered two Double Whoppers & surprised her & she was giddy excited. I came downstairs to have mine & wow, it was horrible. I will attempt to describe all the reasons both of us came to the same conslusions - either The Whopper is now a nasty burger, or the Blue Ridge, GA BK exclusively is serving a nasty burger. So here goes. My first bite was bad. I took the top bun off & there was a couple of limp tomato slices, a couple of limp pickle slices, lettuce that was likely beyond the use by date, & there was a little wisp of ketchup. I added a real slice of tomato, real sliced pickles, & some actual ketchup to try & make the burger taste better. After biting into the "improved" Whopper, it was very obvious that the meat patties had been overcooked to the point of being leathery & the bun was quite stale. I checked in with my lady & she said almost the same things & was very disappointed that her burger was so bad. We both managed to choke down about half of each of our burgers, then we threw them in the garbage. Normally we'd at least give the meat to our dogs but were afraid they might get sick, so they went straight to the trash. Our conclusions are that both of our burgers meat was grossly overcooked & they likely spent a very long time under the heat lamp that finished off the bun. Or, the people at the Blue Ridge, GA Burger King have no idea how to prepare an edible product - most likely a combination of both... You can go ahead & send a coupon for a free burger, but I'll just give it to an unsuspecting stranger that I'll never see again. Good luck BK, you might want to audit the quality control of this location - it's obviously below even the lowest standards in the fast food biz, especially since the Popeye's location next door closed up in the past couple of weeks with tons of bad reviews, so they passed the baton to you... Absolutely horrible customer service, especially the one worker named Destiny (I believe that's her name). After taking leas than a minute to check my food at the window as I am pulling off she sticks her head out the window yelling me sarcastically. This isn't the first incident we've had with this employee or others either. They really need a refresh on customer service and public decency!! Food: 3 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 3
