First thing to know. Burger on Point is a food truck not a restaurant. It’s located just up from the Petro Canada gas station and Sooke Brewery, and it’s not in the prettiest of locations however, do not let that stop you. The menu is extensive with specials posted and we both decided to try a classic the Bacon Cheeseburger with Fries. There was a bit of a wait for the food, be prepared for this as everything is cooked fresh to order. It’s a good thing. The burgers arrived they were spectacularly good. Perfectly cooked and filled with bacon, cheese, lettuce, tomorrow and red onion. The fries were hot and it was delicious. Truly one of the best burgers I’ve had in five years of travelling around Vancouver and the Island. Highly recommend this brilliant food truck. Date of visit 19th May 2026 at 1pm. Food: 5

We were so pumped to visit this place. The web pics and 2 others suggested it. What we got was a Patti not fresh beef like it showed. Never mind the quality but the quantity was meager at best. I must of caught him on a bad day but enough to write this review which says it all especially for a $20 truck burger. By the way the onions ring were good. Hope it works for you. Hi there, thank you for taking time and giving us your feedback. We apologies for this experience, the week in questions we had few issues we were dealing with. We make our beef burgers from scratch and the downside is that sometimes we do get overground beef from our supplier in error, because we make everything fresh and don’t store meat for long we have to use what we receive as we don’t have backup to return the overground meat, which when cooked shrinks more than we anticipate. We have rectified this issue now until it happens again. Also due to bun shortage from our supplier we had to resort to secondary supplier which provided us with smaller looking buns than usual. Some pics are definitely posted by us but if you go through reviews customers have posted the pics of what they have actually received. We all have bad days and weeks and you were absolutely correct to point out as it was indeed a bad week for us. We as business do have good and bad weeks sometimes training new staff, supplier issues or sometimes it’s just a bad day. We hope you would have tried us few times to reach this conclusion but that is our hope, obviously your experience was bad enough to leave us this review. We think we are priced fairly considering we do things from scratch and never frozen beef burgers. Not contesting your experience just presenting our side. Overly ground beef when cooked can seem as a patty. Hope you give us another chance and may be we can change your mind. Thank you again for your feedback.
