Driving home from work, I was famished and knew I did not have another 30 minutes in me before cooking. Google pointed me to Burrito Garage, which had roughly a 4.0–4.1 rating. When I pulled up, I realized the location was new, and regardless of this review, I think it is a good addition to Brawley. The service was excellent. I walked up to the window so I could read the menu without holding up the drive-through, and the staff was friendly, fast, and professional. From what I could see inside, the kitchen looked very clean. The burrito itself left me wanting more. I ordered a carne asada burrito with guacamole, and for almost $12 plus tip, I expected better. The tortilla was warm and soft, and the size was adequate, but the carne asada was dry, tough, and in many bites overly crispy. By the time I reached Westmorland, I had to take a break because my jaw was actually tired, and I do not have jaw issues. The guacamole helped once I finally got to it, but it was mostly concentrated in one half of the burrito instead of evenly distributed. I also missed the crunch of onion and the brightness of cilantro, which were either absent or barely noticeable. For a Mexican drive-through, I expected something closer to authentic and satisfying. I could have gone to Taco Bell, spent less, and at least gotten exactly what I expected. Burrito Garage has a good location, great staff, and a clean-looking kitchen, so I hope this burrito was an outlier. It was really good the first few weeks, now the last couple things I’ve bought is so salty you can’t even finish your meal. I thought it was a one time thing at first but it’s been consistently salty every single time now. Food: 2

I went to The Burrito Factory today 03/28/26 and had a great experience! The service was super fast, which I really appreciated, but what stood out the most was the food..it was AMAZING. Everything was very flavorful and tasted fresh. You can tell they put effort into quality. On top of that, the staff was exceptional very friendly and welcoming, which made the visit even better.
