After enjoying Jeffrey St. Off Leash Dog Park, go to this restaurant which is not far away. Eating nicely cooked smoked chicken, filet américain and chicken fingers is a nice experience here. At Butchie's, clients may have good watermelon salads and tasty ice cream. Get your meal started with delicious craft beer, root beer or Sangria. It's a must to taste great strawberry milkshakes, chocolate shake or lemonade while coming to this place.

Had the Country fried steak, wings, and pork shoulder. Had high expectations and was disappointed. Everything was really over seasoned. Steak was tough, several of the wings were broken (a sign for me that the chickens were processed by throwing them into the cages or trucks--hence a low quality supplier). Pork shoulder was the strongest dish (without the sauce). Staff were friendly and welcoming. Restaurant had a pleasant and fun atmosphere. It can get busy and if dining in you may need to wait for a table to open up which can be awkward because you order first. Lots of takeout traffic so clearly a favourite of the locals. Kid-friendliness: Pretty chill atmosphere to bring young kids in.
