Attended a baby shower here and was absolutely disgusted at how rude the lady was. The food was all very nice(hence the one star) but the service was beyond indignant from the very start. Everyone in the party was polite and thankful despite her attitude. She couldn't wait to get rid of us and went as far as pretending to have a booking after us. She made a loud, fake phonecall to delay their arrival. When I walked past the tearooms not long after, the lights were all out!

Staff were rude and seemed quite indignant to have to serve us. Disappointing, especially based on the rest of these reviews...

Not only has The Buttercup Tearoom served 19 of us for a superb afternoon. But one of my colleagues is a celiac and I didn't know.
Food was rustled up for her to Wendy's normal high standards.
Impeccable service too with the help of her two fantastic assistance!
