I arrived at The Buttery café and bakery after a tour of the beach in Santa Cruz. It is one of those traditional places in the USA where you find, as the name says, a bakery for lovers of sweet things, the staff is super friendly serving and supporting you with any questions you may have about their food. They do not have gluten free or vegan foods but for those who can eat freely I highly recommend them. I have not been able to take photos of what I have ordered because we have been really focused on enjoying each thing they sell here. I read about the cleanliness of the place, which I think is more the way they are arranged and the years they have been here that make the furniture look a little dirty since the times I have come they are always attentive to it. I came by on a busy weekend afternoon and the staff was so helpful walking me through flavors and choices. Don’t sleep on the pecan sandies, I grabbed on a whim and it was incredible!
