Get there early, waits are long because the food is awesome. Huge portions. All 5 of us left very happy with lots of leftovers.
Yummy monster mozerella sticks. They are HUGE. Service was a bit slow because we went at a busy time. Maybe 15 minutes to get food after ordering? Maybe a little less. Everyone is really nice and there are good vibes. The bartenders have a good sense of humor too and sounded like they were having good conversations with their guests are the bar.
Wow. This could have cost 3x as much as some pretentious place where the fake “classy southern” got in the way of good food. Instead, for almost nothing, I got this sampler plate and every single item on it was about as good as I could have wanted. The JAMBALAYA is perfect— juicy, flavorful, not over cooked. The BLACKENED CHICKEN wasn’t dried out and the seasoning was right on the perfect edge between spicy and flavorful. The land gumbo was the worst of the bunch and I could have eaten a huge bowl of it cuz it was so good. Even the gosh darn hush puppies were great, and I hate bread. So there you have it. GO TO THIS PLACE. Get some amazing food.
