Exceptionally rude and racist staff. They would not let us into the Izakaya for a drink and a meal despite having 8 empty seats visible from the front door. I told them we had flown in from Australia with no opportunity to call in advance. Don’t bother to go there. It looked very ordinary compared to the place we went to afterward Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

I visited C3 Furano Restaurant on the night of October 16. It’s one of the few places open late on Thursday night in town. The restaurant is run by a lovely couple who work together to prepare everything fresh. The atmosphere feels unique and cozy, with an old-style touch — bar chairs in front and tatami seating in the back. The food was delicious and flavorful, though a bit salty for my taste. I ordered fried rice with grilled chashu pork, takoyaki with mentaiko mayo, assorted yakitori, and sides of cucumber in soy sauce and fresh cabbage — all tasty and well-presented. They have an English menu (translated by Google), so some items might be a little confusing, but it’s manageable. Drink prices are reasonable, and they accept credit cards. Parking can be tricky to find, but overall, I really recommend this place to all tourists visiting Furano! Price per person: ¥1,000–2,000 Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
