We had no expectations for this restaurant as we didn’t make reservations but always see it on the side of road when traveling in Fishkill. We were able to try it yesterday and I was upset we didn’t do it sooner. When we walked in, it was fairly empty. As soon as we had dessert, there was a wait. We started with the standard michelada’s and margaritas for the table. The complimentary chips and sauces (bean dip being the best) made our group realize that this place was going to be phenomenal. We used these as starters along with the empanadas and guacamole. Both were amazing and highly recommend to try the beef and cheese options. Moving onto the entrees, we got the al pastor burrito, birria, beef, and potato tacos. The star of the show was the molcajete. Note that not many restaurants have this available so try it if they do! Filled with chicken, steak, and shrimp - it was simply delicious. All the flavors from the broth and mixing with the tortillas and rice/beans made this a meal to remember. Finally for dessert we orders the vanilla tres leches and fried ice cream. Both were great but would simply travel back for the vanilla tres leches if I could. Our server was attentive but as the restaurant filled, it became much busier and more staff was helping than our initial waitress. CINCO DE MAYO!!! Casa really showed up yesterday, they had K104 doing a live broadcast in the parking lot and a DJ later in the night. they were doing giveaways all day with merch and gift cards. it was super packed, but the staff handled it really well and kept checking in on guests despite how busy it got. Big SHOUTOUT to the owners Denisse and Chris too - they were amazing and really present the whole time. overall, Casa delivered a fun, high energy event and drinks were ON POINT. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

If you haven't tried Casa Mexican kitchen you must try it. From the moment you sit down to the moment you leave you will have a great experience. Rosie was our server and she was extremely knowledgeable about the menu and gave us some great suggestions. We had the tacos the street corn which was fantastic and the three enchiladas. All the food was seasoned perfectly fresh and delicious. We had the pleasure of meeting Denise who's one of the owners and she was equally as lovely as Rosie. Highly recommend stopping in for a meal I know you won't regret it. I will definitely be back. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Meal type: Dinner
