Absolutely incredible food, cocktails, and service with marvelous views of the water, boardwalk, and marina! 2nd Street Dip was a great way to start, the smoked artichoke and cheese over grilled sourdough is delectable, and it was not too spicy at all despite the numerous accompanying peppers listed on the menu. Wine N Brine Garlic Inferno Wings were another delicious and less-spicy-than-implied-by-the-menu dish, wonderfully garlicky and savory with just a little kick to them, nothing the celery couldn't quell. Elote Corn Ribs were a super fun and flavorful vegan option with vegan aioli and cotija cheese that work extremely well, and just a touch of kick from the mojo verde. Yacht Club and Mai Tai cocktails were both tropical and well-balanced, a masterful mix of rum and fruit flavors, maybe a tad on the sweet side, certainly not too strong, weak, or bitter, perfect if that's your preference. Creole Salmon Cobb and King Salmon Aglio E Olio were both massive and awesome entrees. House-Made Jumbo Onion Rings were fantastic, definitely jumbo with ample crispy breading that was among the best we've had. Cassie's Vegan Greek Salad is a beautiful and fresh masterpiece, with vegan Feta that's just about as good as any regular Feta out there. Bourbon Cherry Sticky Ribs were another outstanding and flavorful dish, with plenty of bourbon cherry sauce and tender, fall-off-the-bone meat, which came with a couple of Elote Corn Ribs on top, and the lovely touch of a few decadent whiskey cherries on the side. Pink Sangria was bright and light, with delightful peach and grapefruit flavors. Then, oh, the desserts! Perhaps the best lineup of four desserts ever assembled, all must-tries, luckily there were six of us to order, split, and experience the majesty of them all. Cold N Caramel Banana Cheesecake is an absolute gift, especially if you're a big banana and/or cheesecake fan such as myself, although even my banana-flavor-phobic mother-in-law utterly loved it - accompanying optimal cookie crust, caramelized bananas, rum glaze, and walnuts make for a heavenly ensemble. Bruleed Bread Pudding is another exquisite offering, with fabulous torched Italian meringue, the very best whiskey sauce you can imagine, and the ideal composition of bread pudding that tops most, if not all, we've ever had. The Wildberry Sorbet Weekly Feature would reign supremely if it weren't for the grandeur of the Cheesecake and Bread Pudding - the flax touile, poached pears, and red wine reduction are all particularly cohesive and special. Finally, the Oreo Beignets are another exceptional dish, the Blood Orange Coconut Cream is especially extraordinary. Thank you, CHAR Kitchen, for such an excellent meal, which we traveled all the way across the country from Virginia to share with our family, including our 93-year-old grandmother - you gave us a phenomenal experience which we will never forget!
