Seeing Old Town Faro requires time and efforts, so if you feel hungry afterwards, come to this restaurant for a good meal. Nicely cooked tempura, calamari and tuna ceviche can make a great impression on you. Many people visit Checkin Faro by Leonel Pereira to try good parfait. You will hardly forget delicious house wine that you can enjoy.

Spent an evening in Faro whilst in Algarve. Picked this restaurant at random. It was an excellent choice. Tried four plates between two of us. They were all outstanding. If we were staying in Faro I would go back here again. Staff were informed and attentive. Menu is original and caters for different tastes. There are lots of clever additions to each dish we tried. House red wine at €5 a glass was superb. In my opinion this is food well above the standard of most restaurants and the cost is reasonable. One small criticism is the location on a not very pretty street, but that didn’t detract from a near perfect evening. Well done to the staff.
