We never even got our food. Went there at 8:50 for a pick-up, we were told we had until 9:00, and they randomly said they were done at 8:40. They were so rude, we will never return.

Everything seemed okay but later on the food tasted funky I stopped eating it. The very next day I got food poisoning, DO NOT RECOMMEND!

I recently lunched at China Star (aka China V Star), and enjoyed myself thoroughly; it was a very good meal and very well priced. My bill was $9.30 USD for the luncheon buffet; you really can't get much better than that! Hot diggity dog! The restaurant décor is somewhat dark and mysterious, but really not bad, with deep, warm colours (taupes, aubergines, etc). Curious, and quite intriguing, I must say. The buffet was enormous, featuring several long steam tables with a wide variety of items; I was amazed at the freshness and quality, especially since I arrived a bit late (about 1245pm). The food, as I mentioned, was very hot and very delicious; I enjoyed it immensely. Everything was fresh and (did I say hot?) very hot! NB Ignore the crying screaming babies, because, bad parenting The service is okay, neither good nor bad. It just...is. It's not unfriendly, but it's not particularly welcoming either. Oh, well. I didn't come for the service; I came for the food. I really liked China V Star (aka China Star) and will definitely plan to return.
