"I would like to share my absolute best feedback for Ali at the Choco Loco branch in Place Vendôme! From the moment we walked in, he welcomed us so warmly and made us feel right at home. His customer service throughout our entire visit was truly outstanding—he constantly checked in on us to make sure we had everything we needed with a wonderful, positive attitude. Chocoloco, The Pearl. Today, we planned to stop by Moka, but as wasn’t open yet, we decided on its neighbour, Chocoloco. It’s been a while since I visited this place. I have been for a coffee before, but wasn’t impressed by their ‘flat white’, served in a glass, monotone, and as plain as can be. Today, I committed the coffee lovers sin, ordered a big milky cappacuno (25QR), which at least looked more like a flat white than their flat white. Even came in a ceramic cup, simple pleasures It was alright, but it was still a cappuccino. The food took a while, but it’s fresh and I’m in no rush on a lazy Friday morning. Served within 30 mins. I went for the Shakshouka (45QR) and my roommate went for the Quinoa Salad (45QR). The item looked decent enough and sounded healthy being accompanied by a “special dressing.” Can you guess what the special dressing was? Will give you a clue, what’s the least “special” sauce you know other than ketchup? Yes, you got it! Mayo! The salad tasted heavy and was left barely touched. Constructively, I informed the staff that they should adapt the description and replace the words “special dressing”, or create one. The shakshouka was ok, a little thick but did the job. It’s one of those dishes that despite being so simple in terms of ingredients, is rarely made the same. The Boho Social one still ranks higher in the Shakshouka Premier League, with its flavoursome additions. Friendly service, but a rather disappointing experience. Wouldn’t particularly recommend the place and that will likely be the last time I drop in enroute to Mono. — at Chocoloco_qr.
