We thoroughly enjoyed dining at Colibries Steaks & Ribs! We were celebrating a 65th birthday/retirement! I ordered gluten-free options, of which there were many great choices, and was very impressed by not one but two servers checking/informing me that they did use the same fryer for all food. Great to see the care taken. We enjoyed all our food, except the carrots were a little crunchy for my personal taste. We saved $85.50 on our meals for 4 adults, booked using first table, was a great experience and would definitely go back again in future. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: NZ$30–40 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Dietary restrictions: Many gluten-free options but not a separate fryer, so potential for cross contamination....however the staff were lovely and did make that clear to me upon ordering.

Be careful with your credit card payment. We were charged twice for our meal. We contacted them and they said that they would refund us. 6 weeks later and numerous emails, they still have not done so. Very dishonest and disappointing
