Went into the pub for a meal, but found the kitchen had shut. The lady behind the bar, Beverley, asked the chef if there was anything she still had. Lauren stayed on late to cook us both a beautiful beef lasagna ... and if that wasn't enough, we had cheesecake for pudding! Thanks ladies, made a great birthday meal for me, and we really appreciated it. Brilliant service. Service: 5

Not so good today, usually top drawer but the fish and chips were average at best. The waitress of colour (no offence) was not very customer friendly and looked miserable throughout. The atmosphere though, was spot on as always. Service: 3
