A great space simply gone to waste! They have advertised that all types of coffee and other beverages are there but only black coffee and plain tea was available in the entire cafe. Specially the girl who was working on 13/02/2026 Friday evening was very rude she acted like we came to eat for free or something Workers with attitude problems and foolish management will cause the downfall of this cafe and it’s sad to see coz that place has the greatest potential. Café 85 in Chilaw has a great location, just near the beach, which gives it a relaxing and breezy atmosphere. It’s a nice spot to chill, especially in the evening. However, when it comes to pricing, the food and beverage costs feel quite high compared to the quality and portion sizes. On top of that, they add a service charge, which doesn’t quite match the level of service provided something that could be improved. Overall, it’s a decent place for a beachside coffee or meal, but the value for money might not meet everyone’s expectations.
