The restaurant's food and interior

Delicious wine is worth trying here. You will hardly forget great coffee that you can find. Visitors don't highly appreciate ravioli at this cafe.

A lot of people suppose that the staff is hospitable at this place. Fast service is something that guests highlight in their reviews.

Cafe Ago is a unique find in Atlanta. It's a neighborhood joint that offers food made from scratch including homemade pasta. You won't find any prepared, rewarmed food like many other restaurants. The fresh, organic ingredients shine through. I think they recently began offering dinner as the restaurant has been open for about a year. I know as I've come almost since it opened. Never had a bad experience with regard to food or service. But, it's definitely not a fast food joint and the food reflects that fact. If you're looking for a cozy spot with a personal touch that serves fresh food in a relaxing environment then this is the spot for you. It's a regular on our list for breakfast and dinner. Despite the previous comments from the last reviewer, I would encourage you to give it a try! You won't find another spot like it in Atlanta.

Cozy neighborhood spot with food made from scratch. Atlanta is devoid of places like this. The owner will likely take your order and make your food. He will likely inquire about the specific way your would like your sandwich, dinner etc prepared. No mass production or frozen food here!!! Instead, chutney made from scratch- would you like the spicier one he made today or the less spicy version from a couple days ago. Talk about food with a caring, personal touch!
The menu is sufficient but not broad. No seafood dishes available but, plenty of vegetarian, organic or traditional Italian styled options are here. Their pasta and sauces etc are all made from scratch and you can taste the difference!! It's BYOB at night when they are open for dinner which is a plus. And, there is some outdoor seating.
The restaurant is very typically Italian. So, do not come for dinner if you are in a big hurry. The purpose is to enjoy yourself and the food. You will probably meet a few folks too!
Must also say that they do make a killer omelette too. Ask for avocado on top! Great with a authentic cappuccino.
Hope this place stays around for a long time. It's become a favorite of our family!

The service was extremely poor. The server brought out bread only after we asked because we had been waiting more than thirty minutes for our food. Water glasses were never refilled. I had to get up out of my chair twice and ask for parmesan cheese. The server was too busy looking at papers. The pasta was awful. The pasta was not fresh and the sauce was tasteless. The pasta was $16 with one piece of prosciutto. It way over priced for very poor quality food. This was my first time at this restaurant. Maybe the lunch is better.
