A wonderful example of how customer service should be and how a classic breakfast can be something special with a few tweaks, great menu! Location is also great with a lovely quiet courtyard out the back of the cafe. Meal type: Breakfast Price per person: $40–60 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes: Bagel

This morning was my first visit to Mantecado. I went with my 6yo daughter for a school holiday treat. She said it was the most relaxing cafe with the best pancakes ever. The Heuvos Rancheros was amazing and we couldn't fault the service (the guys running it were "so very nice even though they're not girls!!", I was told). Definitely worth a visit.
