Real Ameland pub, very cozy and cozy, nice staff, nothing was too crazy, we were here with a group of 12 and were absorbed in the atmosphere.

Didn't look at us upon entering and they acted as if we arrived after closing time. Helped with pain and difficulty with the request to pick up the next drinks myself while the bartender “owner” was taping away beer on his bare feet. So not a warm welcome. It was a grim atmosphere so we decided to sit outside for a while, we were looked at strangely and there was some humming. We were done with this place very quickly after 1 beer and wanted to pay within 2 beers. With pain and effort the best man got up to get the bill. We pay neatly, thank the man and wish him a nice evening (we wanted to end the evening on a positive note), to which we only hear: “thank you.” Didn't receive a welcome and didn't leave with gratitude. The next time we come to Ameland with our friends we will certainly not come here because of this experience. The tent looks nice from the outside and inside, but unfortunately the atmosphere and the people ruin this. Too bad because we are the next generation who should be attracted to these types of boring grumpy café owners. Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1
