Today (22/10/24), I went to have breakfast between 10:00 and 10:30. I would like to congratulate the employee Maria Cristina, excellent service! Friendly and polite from start to finish. You made the right choice! Now, what made me upset was the attitude of two other employees. I ordered a Blueberry Muffin, with the intention of eating a Blueberry Muffin. As soon as I ate the first piece, I felt a strong orange taste. I asked another employee (wearing a pink polo shirt) if there was orange, she went to ask other employees and told me that it was available. I mentioned that I couldn't eat it because I'm allergic to oranges. Since there was no description saying it was Blueberry and Orange, just Blueberry. She took the Muffin off the table and took it to the counter, talking about what happened to the other employees who were at the counter. A young man with short, wavy, thin hair, wearing a green shirt, shouted "She asked, she's going to pay!" This same employee came back to my table with the Muffin, saying that I had to take it and pay, because I asked for it and didn't say I was allergic. I commented again that I expected it to be Blueberry, as it says on the label and not orange, and that I wasn't going to pay and get something that I'm not going to eat and that I can't eat for health reasons. She returned to the counter with the Muffin again and the employee in green continued criticizing me. I found the attitude completely inelegant, this is not the way a customer deserves to be treated. I was going to promote the store on my profile to my followers, as I do with all the cafes and bistros I frequent, but I completely gave up. Again, she came back, saying that she wasn't going to charge me for the Muffin, which she had taken off the bill, with negative facial expressions. It may be possible for Maria Cristina to provide good customer service training for these employees. We usually have lunch at Botânica at least once a week. The dishes are well served, tasty, with great salads and even includes a starter and a dessert. And we are always very well attended to by Miguel! Price per person: R$60–80 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
