I have been giving this restaurant my business for years and years ! I had quite a few events using their private room. I used it to celebrate special occasions, luncheons, parties, ect. I was considering have a baby shower there in two months.I was a realtor for years and I would take clients there and meet with other agents as well. I have given this review a lot of thought. I was pushed over the edge to leave this by an episode a few weeks back. I took into consideration that because I frequented it a lot, there would be times that a dish may not be correct or my to go order was missing the salads, ect. I let those things go because those waitresses work hard and can make a mistake. But what put my over the edge now was the owner ! I was leaving one day and overheard the owner say very foul and crude words to a gentleman who came in and was introducing himself from another business of some sort. The owner was so nasty we couldn't believe it ! He said something about don't you see the door says no soliciting and the gentleman said he did not because someone was holding the door open for him to come in and apologized. Then that owner ripped in to him with his unprofessional foul mouth ! I saw the other side of him and will not support a business like that. It was embarrassing, very uncomfortable and unprofessional. I had my 90 year old in-laws with me. How embarrassing. If he can't treat people, no matter who they are, with respect I will no longer go there or recommend it. Johnneys across the street will be our new place. I hear they are family owned and have banquet rooms as well. I don't tolerate nasty or disrespectful people. My advice to the owner.....go to some low class bar at 1 am if you need to get your big bad boy words out. You made yourself look really bad ! People do not want to hear your nasty words or see anyone treated like that who walks through your door.
