My family and I were discriminated against by this establishment. We went for a peaceful dinner, but once we were seated and preparing to order, we were instructed to leave Cafe Colombia immediately. Apparently, the owner is unaware of the law in the state of New Jersey, allowing disabled individuals the right to have their service animal with them at all times, including at restaurants. Although we tried to nicely explain this to the restaurant staff, they shrugged their shoulders and pointed us to the exit door. My kids were confused and upset, as was I. Needless to say, we won’t visit this spot again.
