Following a fairly typical case of establishments being inexplicably closed in the village, we found ourselves at Cafe David after a steep hill walk with two hungry children. No menu regarding breakfast but when we asked, David could not be more of a gentleman - regardless of our lack of spanish and his english. . Nothing but smiles and hospitality - a very warm man. This really was our port in the storm! Excellent Tostados and huevos, and strong coffee which always seems lacking to me locally. Couldn’t recommend this place enough based on this experience. A small-town simple cafe with budget-friendly prices. To our surprise, getting an outdoor table required a reservation, so we sat indoors instead. Even though the owner doesn't speak English, we had no trouble communicating. The food is simple yet delicious, the service was fast, and the overall value easily earns a well-deserved 5 stars.
