Permanently Closed! Not to be shady or anything, but this place wasn’t satisfying while it had lasted, and they had definitely earned their way up to the punishment. I had always preferred Uncle Julio up 75 and La Hacienda on Preston in Frisco and never found value in this restaurant. The food was always cold or room-temperature. Yep, this place definitely needs to go for a new business to take its place... hopefully a restaurant that actually has employees with cooking experience!

Café del Río has very colorful decorations and it is a Tex Mex . I had an guacamole salad and it was very good. Lettuce was shredded and very fresh,served with four scoops of guacamole and diced tomatoes on the side served on a chile shape plate. They also served chips, salsa and a spicy ranch salsa and flower tortillas while you wait for your food. Good service.
