Both Temple Bat Yam and Cafe Fiore are recommended for visiting. The Italian cuisine attracts customers who are in search of positive impressions. If you haven't tried amazing seafood pasta, awesome rack of lamb and wonderful salads at this restaurant till now, then you haven't lived a life yet. Delicious ice cream and good tiramisu are among the dishes to be tasted at Cafe Fiore. You will hardly forget fine wine and decent champagne that you can enjoy. In the 'Drinks' section of the menu, terrible cappuccino and horrible latte got the negative feedback. On the top of all that, the staff is friendly. The excellent service is a big advantage. It's an opportunity for you to enjoy the nice atmosphere. This place was given 2 Frommer's stars and marked as highly recommended for the quality, service, amenities, and special features.

So I can't say enough good things about this place! It's more than a restaurant, it's an experience. You need reservations for one! For real, they book up. I constantly saw people coming in and out. Pros- They have parking Super cute location Great atmosphere! ( great for dates ) Loved the music. Gave it a laid back romantic feel. Everyone that works here goes out of the way to make sure you are enjoying the food and experience (Joel, Steve ) I wasn't sure which wine I wanted to settle on so Joel just brought three to the table and let me taste them! Now....let me tell you about the fooooodddddd!!! Garlic bread...it's true you MUST order this! I had the minestrone soup followed by a seafood pasta and it was marvelous! The ice cream.......OMG! I would be fat if I lived here for sure. I just don't understand how it taste so good.......I'm not just saying this but this is the best dessert I've ever had...and because I had such a horrible lunch they gave it to me for free! Cons- I live in SoCal and so I can't come more often. Umm that's all I've got You need to go here if you are in Tahoe! It's just a superb place. Really a hidden gem. The service here is really unbelievable. You can tell that the people that work here are happy working here and really care about the customers that come in. After a very disappointing lunch I am so thankful for a magnificent dinner! Thank you I'll be back!
For our 5 year anniversary celebration, we made reservations and was very happy with the service (pleasant, attentive, and friendly) and the ambience (a beautiful restaurant with a cute patio and tasteful decors). However, the food was not perfect, but still good. My boyfriend ordered the   Fettuccine Alla Marengo and I ordered the Spaghetti Con Salsiccia. Both our pasta dish was cooked perfectly, but it was overly salted for our tastebud. He liked his, because of the strong olive flavors, but it really masked all the other flavors on the dish. If you were blindfolded, you wouldn't have guessed that there was any other ingredients, if you only tasted the pasta. I was fairly pleased with my order, but strangely, I didn't think that the portion of the dish wasn't right. I had very little pasta and spinach, but a generous amount of sausage. I think because the sausage, while very delicious,  it was also very salty, made my own dish too salty. I was only able to eat a third of my plate. The garlic bread was absolutely delicious, but I wished they told us that we had to pay extra for it. We would had ordered it anyway, but being put in hindsight, made us slightly frustrated. The soup and salad was typical. The complimentary dessert was nice and custardy. My boyfriend's favorite item that we ate. ** COST: It's on the pricier side.
Having read the reviews online and with rave recommendations from friends, we made our reservations well in advance and were expecting a spectacular dining experience.  Not so. The pasta and fried meatballs didn't have enough sauce and were dry. The medallions were smothered and the side of veggies just ok. For half the price we wouldn't return. Way overpriced.
