I would rate the food 3.8 Staff and ambience 5 Cafe Flora is a vegetarian-friendly oasis with a charming ambiance and delightful staff. The café boasts three distinct areas, creating an inviting atmosphere for patrons. While it caters to vegans and vegetarians, it also accommodates those who consume eggs. My experience began on a high note with a delectable Americano that perfectly balanced strength and smoothness. However, the excitement waned when the mochi beignets arrived. Unfortunately, they fell short of expectations, being overly fried and greasy, with a disappointing lack of mochi flavor. Thankfully, the entrees redeemed the dining experience. The roasted pepper and portobello fritta, featuring eggs, impressed with its flavorful combination and perfectly cooked potatoes. The dish struck the right balance, avoiding excessive greasiness while delivering satisfying crispness. On the other hand, the waffle failed to leave a lasting impression. While it provided a novel culinary experience, the heavy sauce topping and lackluster taste left much to be desired. It's a dish I likely wouldn't reorder. In summary, Cafe Flora offers a picturesque setting and caters well to various dietary restrictions. While some dishes, like the roasted pepper and portobello fritta, shine, others, such as the mochi beignets and waffle, miss the mark. It's a charming spot for those seeking vegetarian options, although the food might not always reach the highest culinary standards.
