If you never appeared to try British cuisine, take your chance at this cafe. You will be offered such food as perfectly cooked salad rolls, sandwiches and soup, come here and try them. A lot of visitors order delicious latte or great tea.
Cafe Gallo with takeaway dishes is good for those clients who like to have lunch in a hurry. The terrific staff welcomes guests all year round. Allergy sufferers “don’t bother”, incredibly rude and condescending staff told me “don’t even bother” ordering if you have a nut allergy despite them not even trying to show me the ingredients of their food. Was rudely shot down before even getting a chance to order something else than the wrap I wanted. Clearly no cares for their customers and clearly an unhygienic kitchen that the didn’t want to disclose

I’m so sorry that you were spoken to in what seemed to be a rude tone by my son. I can assure you we take allergies very seriously and that was why you were told not to have the basil pesto as it is made with cashew nuts not pine nuts. From what I can gather it was busy and the conversation about nut was interrupted by my son as he was serving another customer? So came across as ‘short’ Please accept our apologies I can assure you that our prep area is not unhygienic, as there is no kitchen we keep our very small space as organised as possible. Café Gallo is such a pleasant spot to grab a bite and some coffee! There’s limited seating outside and a few tables inside with cosy decor and soft lighting. I ordered the Satay wrap which had peanut butter, bbq sauce, brie, chicken and bacon! An unlikely combo of ingredients which turned out to be super satisfying. One thing to note is that they apparently don’t have customer toilets.
