Worst ever Indian meal. Bizarre fiddling of prices. Two plates of brown mush, overcooked rice sent back. £45. Avoid at all costs

Worst restaurant meal I have ever had. My garlic mushroom starter tasted exactly the same as my Bhuna prawn main. The colour of the food was not right and every dish was crammed full of onion. We eat out at least once a week and usually we have no cause to write a review but this was all just wrong so please avoid at all costs. The hospitality however was really good but that is not we are paying for

Best curry we have had for years. We have eaten in every curry house on ocean road and enjoyed some places but the star of India has proved to be the best. We have booked a table for next saturday and will book one every week from now on. The staff are very polite and make you feel very welcome. I would recommend this indians to all my friends and family 100%.
