We visited this restaurant for breakfast during our trip to Tokyo. The café itself has a lovely atmosphere, and the space is clean, comfortable, and inviting. Unfortunately, our experience was overshadowed by one staff member, a gentleman wearing glasses who appeared to be a manager. From the moment we interacted with him, he seemed unwelcoming and visibly irritated. We asked a few basic questions about the menu before ordering, but his responses made us feel as though we were inconveniencing him. His facial expressions and tone came across as impatient rather than helpful. We ordered two breakfast meals and two coffees, so our questions were simply part of deciding what to order. Good customer service, especially toward visitors, should include answering basic menu questions without making guests feel uncomfortable. In contrast, the other staff members, especially one of the female staff, were warm, friendly, and helpful throughout our visit. They made a genuine effort to provide good service. It was also noticeable that the gentleman’s interactions with the other staff did not appear particularly positive, which further affected the atmosphere. It’s unfortunate because the restaurant itself has a lot going for it. With better hospitality from this one staff member, our experience would have been much more enjoyable. We are staying a 5 minute walk from this lovely cafe. Yummy breakfast with fruit, salad, egg and bacon with toast. It was everything we wanted on one plate and not too big. Very enjoyable and zen interior. Staff were so kind and service was great. Highly recommend for breakfast or brunch! Meal type: Breakfast Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
