Went to Cafe Japan for a lovely dinner with my friends. It opened at 6:00 PM on a Saturday for dinner. There was plenty of parking space. We wanted to try a bit of everything so ordered the Prawn + Veg Tempura Set, Bento with Sushi (nigiri) and Chicken Karaage, and a portion of the Chicken Gyoza. Everything tasted fresh and yummy. One friend of mine had never properly tried Japanese cuisine, and she too found everything to be delicious. The portion sizes were more than enough and the three of us could barely finish everything. Even the rice was delicious, I could have eaten that with soy sauce and the furikake seasoning alone. Tips: Drink the miso soup and have the tempura first while it’s warm. Between bites you can have some miso soup to clean the palette. The tempura set and bento came with a dessert, so we chose the Matcha Ice Cream and the Passionfruit Pannacotta. Both were refreshing and a perfect end to our meal. Thank you, Cafe Japan for a lovely evening! I went with my son coz we are both Japanese food lovers browse and found this place. We were very happy with the food, service and the ambience of this cafe. The staff was attentive and the food with the Japanese cutleries were cute & amazingly beautiful. Just loved the soft music and the atmosphere. I would definitely go back recommend to Japanese food lovers I just loved the Miso soup and my Bento box, my son says he ordered the Maki & Sashimi’s it as great. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
