I had a very unpleasant experience at Café Jobst. I visited with my small child, who made a bit of a mess with his food — something quite normal for young children. Instead of handling the situation with understanding, the two women working there behaved rudely and unprofessionally. One of them even threatened to call the police because of the mess, which was completely unnecessary and shocking. When I told her calmly that she could call the police if she thought it was needed, she stopped shouting and told me to leave the café instead. I was very surprised and disappointed by their behavior. As a parent, I always try to be respectful and considerate when going out with my child, but I also believe that a café should show some basic kindness and patience towards families. Mistakes or small messes can happen with young kids — that’s just part of life. This experience left me feeling very unwelcome. I hope the staff at Café Jobst learn to treat all customers — especially parents with small children — with more understanding and respect in the future.
